IMPACT

Education

In Rnagamati District, Chattagram, we donated educational equipment and teachers’ salaries to a tribal school in Hill tracts. Since power is unstable in the area, we installed a solar panel at the school to ensure continuous and sustainable power and prevent interruptions to the children’s education.

We also donated to a Special Child School (Autism) located 40 km away from Ventura, in Rangpur.

We believe education can change the trajectory of a person’s life and every child has the right to a proper education.

Health and medical

The only Internal Medical Center that services the 32,000 workers in the Uttara EPZ (UEPZ) area did not have any emergency ambulance vehicles to take patients to the divisional city and medical college hospital, which is located far away. Ventura donated an ambulance to the medical center to ensure proper emergency service can be provided the workers.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is in high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ventura sourced and donated PPE to local medical college hospital to help protect the medical staff when treating COVID-19 patients.

Social welfare

At the northern parts of Bangladesh where Ventura is located, temperatures can drop below 5 Celsius from November to February. Homeless and people living below poverty level lack adequate winter clothing for this weather. Since 2015, we donated winter clothes to 1,000 people annually.

The people in Bangladesh celebrate two annual festivals with special meals with their families. We understand the significance of these family gatherings and celebrations. By providing festival food to 1,200 families with financial difficulties every year, we hope to help bring families together to create special memories.
